Opening Statement:
The Caribbean is made of many islands, territories, and nations. Many of these nations are now individual and self governed however there are still a few territories under control from another nation. One of these is Puerto Rico; Puerto Rico is unincorporated by the United States. Considering the previous natural disasters or economic situations many territories and nations are faced with; this opens various positive and negative associations between this debate.
Statement 2:
As we consider both country’s characteristics, (Puerto Rico and the United States) we also interpret the relationship between the two and what is offered.
1. Economic status- America’s current economic status isn’t necessarily at its strongest point, as the issue keeps inflating. The United States is currently 12 trillion dollars in debt and may need to balance that crisis sooner or later. Despite our healthcare’s value and quality we still spend the most money on it in the world. The various divisions in America will soon become bankrupt and I believe that Puerto Rico won’t want to be around when that happens.
2. Foreign Relations and Military- the United States exercises military influence all around the world, as it is a permanent United Nations Security Council. America’s Military support towards Puerto Rico would be mandatory, however I doubt there will be any attacks on Puerto Rico anytime soon.
3. Government and Elections- the United State’s form of government isn’t necessarily good, however it’s the best type. Puerto Rico wouldn’t be able to sustain an efficient government like America’s without America’s assistance.
4. Demographics- as Puerto Rico isn’t subject to an attack; it may be subject to corruption. In order to prevent corruption Puerto Rico needs law enforcement to hold order in the nation. In addition the citizens of Puerto Rico require an efficient education and sufficient participation to society.
Puerto Rico should remain a temporary piece of the United States.

The Caribbean; what could have been or what should have been.
The Caribbean’s what most may characterize as a vacation spot, or a nice place to get away. However there's more to the Caribbean than that. In fact The Caribbean’s history is quite a contradiction, as the debate of how these many territories were effected from colonization. Made up of Cuba, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, the Antilles, and many other islands and colonies; more than 7,000 islands. (islets, reefs, and cays) All strive to set their existence as a foot note to the world’s history. Countries come and go, colonies come and go, and reins come and go. But how may the many territories of the Caribbean have progressed or developed even further had they still been colonized by the United Kingdom? How efficient is it to be administrated by a separate state? Indeed it would be a privilege to be joined with an abound territory. However how appealing is the aspect to be continuously told what to do?
So were the colonies of the Caribbean better as is, or as independent nations? In 1649 Cuba faced a massive epidemic; despite the fact it was colonized by England, (which could have donated food, or medicine) it still killed off a third of the islands population. Cuba’s relationship with the English didn’t seem like a colony, instead I consider it a general enslavement. As if to the United Kingdom Cuba was simply an object of trade with other European countries. After the ownership of Cuba was traded to Spain, Europe’s impact wasn’t helping.

A global epidemic is amongst us; growing every day. We may not have enough discipline to conserve and harvest our natural resources. One of the many crises’ by which we encounter is deforestation. This issue is distributed throughout all countries, not just Honduras. In addition to this single threat is Honduras’ natural hazard’s for example earthquakes or forest fires. This contingency must be acknowledged immediately, with an environmentally safe system, by which renews Honduras. This business is titled H.F.C.A. (Honduras Forest Conservation Agency)
This system is a private area of Honduras, by which is able to develop agriculture is a process that allows all the natural features to recover from whatever the cause of using them. This is handled through planting new seeds and protecting the area from threats, such as storms or species not local to the environment. This business is strictly inside, so that the tree’s environments can be controlled.
Honduras has many natural features for industry; however it doesn’t have them all. So in order to make an efficient profit to start a business I may import resources from Nicaragua, Honduras’s neighboring country. One of the products that Honduras doesn’t hold is petroleum; therefore I'll open a gas station in its capital of Tegucigalpa. This way I may continue this business until I have enough money to fund a tiny portion of my business. Starting with that my business will slowly grow, as I hire new employees and will be able to purchase more equipment.

Mexico is covered with various magnificent and extravagant resorts and vacation spots to accommodate everyone. Amongst these numerous places, the most beautiful resort I came across was Pueblo Bonito de Pacifica. A resort located in Cabo San Lucas on a beach on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. This vacation point features so many activities and occupations, that you’ll never want to leave; from taking a stroll on the beach, to feasting one of Cabo San Lucas’ many divine dishes.
This resort is located on the coast of the Capes. Two years ago my sister departed on a vacation through Cabo. Her experience was wondrous and she recognized all the amenities. Despite the fact I’ve never been privileged to personally enjoy the distinct resorts Mexico has to offer, I already have high standards.
Pueblo Bonito features a wide variety of activities, such as a beach for a walk through the capes, or an appealing swim in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. This resort also features an extravagant golfing course and an amazing inventory of deep sea wild life to explore. This features a restaurant called Siempre with luscious selections of meals and appetizers to appeal to the consumer, or myself. In addition Pueblo Bonito has a spa and pool.
Milwaukee has many airports and I booked my flight in American Airlines, this destination is located 1001 North 4th Street. This flight would take approximately 2 hours form Milwaukee to an international airport in Phoenix Arizona called Sky Harbor. From Phoenix, Arizona I would take another approximate 2 hour flight to San Jose del Cabo; where I may lounge until a concierge picks me up and drives me about 15 miles straight to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Retreat & Spa.

Earth is a natural home to billions of people; unfortunately every day millions are injured, however this is why many nations have a system built to support the fragile lives of its citizens. This is known as healthcare. Unfortunately this system is very expensive and nations must strive and compete for the most cheap and efficient system. Two important contenders for the global race of healthcare are the United States and Canada.
America’s healthcare is separated and divided upon a variety of private entities and a key aspect of the numerous healthcare industries in America is health insurance. This field is subdivided and pays for individual people and families, as they have crises. Different health insurance companies are Children's Health Insurance Program, or Veterans Health Administration. Fifteen percent of all Americans are fully uninsured; in addition a greater portion is underinsured. This means that individuals are insured by a company, however they would have to pay a substantially higher rate, as they encounter health based flaws. Despite the theory that its healthcare is third best in the world a survey taken in 2008 shows that forty six percent of all personal bankruptcies were caused by health insurance. Many people believe that healthcare doesn’t provide equivalent efficiency and quality based on taxes and prices. The United States in known to be the only wealthy and industrialized nation that doesn’t ensure healthcare to all citizens. The U.S. spends about 30 percent more money on healthcare each year. Canada is the eighth nation that spends the most money on healthcare, as the United States is the first.
Of each dollar spent on healthcare in the United States thirty one percent goes towards hospital care, 21% goes to physician services, 10% to pharmaceuticals, 8% to nursing homes, 7% to administrative costs, and 23% to all other categories. However with all the money America spends on healthcare it is the leading system in the world, when addressing its medical research, development, and a product’s creation
and efficiency; as pharmacies and other organizations are able to maintain the money invested towards these researches. This is carried through and maintained so efficiently, because of the investments by private and public sources. A survey in 2003 stated that 40 billion dollars were invested by public sources, as 55 billion dollars were invested by private sources.
Canadian healthcare is funded publicly and generally free by terms of use. Canada’s government assures the quality of healthcare to all, when judging the federal standards. It keeps its health records and information confidential, while it remains between the doctor, or physician and the client. The client doesn’t have to assist or take act in billing of the healthcare required. That goes towards the insurance and the doctor handles it. Canada handles the majority of its healthcare payments by taxes; however the only other two main sources are insurance and commercial industries. Canada assures the same coverage throughout all provinces and there is no need for separate companies, or payments for private insurers. This system took effect in 1966 after this plan was carried through in Canada’s province of Saskatchewan. It was proved by the federal government Lester B. Pearson and the New Democratic Party, so a bill called the medical care act was passed; therefore establishing in all Canadian provinces. Later in 1984 the Canadian Healthcare Bill was passed. This allowed clients not to be charged extra fees, or billings by individual doctors. Unfortunately Canada’s economy, or money spent towards its healthcare continues to increase; and is expected to reach 181 billion dollars.
A poll released in March 2008 by the Harvard School of Public Health and Harris Interactive found that Americans are divided in their views of the U.S. health system, and that there are significant differences by political affiliation. When asked whether the U.S. has the best health care system or if other countries have better systems, 45% said that the U.S. system was best and 39% said that other countries' systems are better. Belief that the U.S. system is best was highest among Republicans (68%), lower among independents (40%), and lowest among Democrats (32%). Over half of Democrats (56%) said they would be more likely to support a presidential candidate who advocates making the U.S. system more like those of other countries; 37% of independents and 19% of Republicans said they would be more likely to support such a candidate. 45% of Republicans said that they would be less likely to support such a candidate, compared to 17% of independents and 7% of Democrats.[205][206] (Copied from Wikipedia)

Create a Region
Ryan Harris
The Brett Favre Region
A region is normally substantially divided upon various neighboring states or counties to efficiently verify that individual’s characteristics; however they aren’t necessarily always specifically verifying states. For example a region could determine groups of countries divided in South America. The term region is basically based towards formats of geography. The United States are divided between five basic regions the Northeast, Midwest, West, Southwest, and Southeast, however US regions may be divided depending on a variety of ways.
An efficient region requires a variety of components structuring it, for example international trade, environmentally safe travel system, a stable economic system, and three individualized branches of collaborating governments between each state.
My region named after an infamous athlete in the history of football “The Brett Favre Region” This will include Minnesota, Green Bay (Wisconsin,) New York, Atlanta (Georgia,) and Mississippi.
The Brett Favre Region will mainly be subject flight and automobile transportation considering the distance between them. Each individual state will have an airport per major city, or heavy populated area. Each major city will have bus systems, or subways. It will have connections with major foreign trade markets, such as Russia, China, and Europe. All local police systems will be connected to one individual police force, so fourth allowing better communication and orientation.
This Brett Favre Region will be contiguous between five different states. Wisconsin (Longitude: 89° 45.8'W Latitude: 44° 26.0'N) Minnesota (Longitude: 95° 19.6'W Latitude: 46° 1.5'N) Georgia (42°00'N Latitude and 43°30'E Longitude) Mississippi (Longitude: 89° 43.0'W Latitude: 32°)
The Brett Favre Region law was passed in 2010 after Brett Favre had retired from football, as Barrack Obama found himself a Bears fan. He decided and considered Brett Favre’s previous football states unfit to be in their current regions; therefore he passed a vote to the general public to individualize these five states into s separate nation. (This shunned Brett Favre for the rest of his life.)
